Your generosity at work around the world.
In every place we serve, we see God already at work—quietly healing, restoring, and opening doors. We simply join Him there, offering love, presence, and hope to the communities He places on our hearts.
Where We’re Making a Difference
London Ontario Canada is the head office for Just One Hope. This Christian Charity is registered with the Government of Canada and as a result, the charity is able to issue tax receipts to Canadian citizens. Just One Hope can receive donations from anywhere in the world and receipts will be issued. The Board of Directors is made up of Christian volunteers with experience in finance, information technology, agriculture, and extensive experience in local and world missions.
Hugo and Salomie DuToit are the Field Specialists for Just One Hope based in South Africa. They are responsible to oversee the activities of the charity in South Africa, Zambia and Eswatini. Although some parts of the country are highly developed, 40% of the population was unemployed in 2021 and 60% lived under the poverty line and 25% earned under $2.15 US per day. In rural areas, getting to school is difficult and expensive based on family income.
We have been actively working with the DuToits since 2013

Pastor Bernard is the Field Specialist for Just One Hope in Zambia a landlocked country in south-central Africa. Before gaining its independence from Great Britain in 1964 it was called Northern Rhodesia. The main religion is Christianity. The average life expectancy rate in Zambia is 40.9 years. HIV has had a great impact on the country which currently sits at 12% of the population. Approximately 54% of the population live below the poverty line with an average income estimated at $150 US per month. Although primary and secondary education is free in Zambia most students struggle with distance as rural schools are quite far apart and a lot of students have to leave school to support the family. Makhosi and Zodwa are the Field Specialists for Just One Hope based in Eswatini. Eswatini, formally Swaziland is a small landlocked country in southern Africa. It is an absolute Monarchy although it does have a parliamentary system of government. Eswatini gained its independence from Great Britain in 1968. The official languages are English and Swazi. Eswatini struggles with major health issues with an HIV rate of 28% (although this is dropping) and a life expectancy of 58 years. Like other African countries, Eswatini relies on agriculture and subsistence living. The country is actively trying to address the health issues and the long hours spent working in the sugar cane fields. Primary school education is free in Eswatini, but most 70% do not get secondary education because of cost, distance and family work needs.
A journey to Eswatini invites you into a land of breathtaking hills and warm, resilient communities, but it also reveals a quieter struggle woven into daily life. Many children face days without enough food, their energy and potential dimmed by hunger that no child should endure. This trip becomes more than travel—it’s an opportunity to witness their strength, understand their challenges, and be part of a story where compassion can spark real change. View Trip Slideshow

Belize is a small Commonwealth country in the Caribbean. It received its independence from Britain in 1981. Prior to independence, it was called British Honduras. The official language is English, but Creole and Spanish are widely spoken. Many parts of the country are poor and developing gradually. The poverty rate is high at over 35% of the population living below the poverty line. Agriculture and subsistence living are extensive. Secondary and university education is not funded by the government, so sponsorships provide great benefits in this area. Christian churches are a large part of the Belizean culture, helping with education and community projects.
