David Hancox is the Treasurer of Just One Hope.  He is a Chartered Professional Accountant.  He retired after working for 35 years in various financial accounting and reporting roles at a major Canadian financial institution.  He has been married to Mary for 42 years.  Together, they have two children and two grandchildren.

God has blessed David with several opportunities to serve those in need, while also sharing the gospel.  He served for many years at a local street ministry where food and clothing were distributed.  In addition, the gospel of Jesus was shared through daily devotions as well as Bible studies.  David is currently an instructor for a Bible-based prison correspondence ministry.  He also serves through the food, clothing, and other outreach ministries of his church.  His experience in these various ministries taught David that while helping out in moments of crisis is essential, providing a strategic way of providing support, and teaching the gospel of Jesus, is the best way to break the cycle of poverty and help people to truly be free.
